5 Fandom Friday: 5 Reasons I Love Autumn (Cozy Fall Favorites)
welcome! ππ»♀️
Hi, I’m Megan Elvrum! ☕
I started blogging in 2012.
Somewhere along the way, it turned into something bigger than I expected… a space for rebuilding, growth, and figuring out who you are when everything changes.
Now, all these years later, I’m self-publishing my first novel Musical Awakening.
Thank you for being here! π
let the journey begin

"I'm a sucker for epistolary novels, so when I first read about it on Megan's blog I knew I needed to get my hands on a copy. If you're a millennial that spent their teens and 20's in small show venues every weekend then this is the book for you. A very cute story, perfect for a cozy weekend in with a cup of coffee (or tea) :)"
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Natalie, Amazon Review
"As someone who also lives in music and feels it deeply this is a story for you! A quick read that took me to a nostalgic time where music and traveling shaped my life and helped me with some of my own self discoveries. I felt right at home reading this book!"
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Erin, Amazon Review

Oh my gosh! Girl I am totally loving your blog. And I am so jealous that you live in San Diego. Attending Comic Con is on my bucket list. *sigh* Love everything about your fall post. Maybe except the pumpkins. But only because we don't get the Starbucks pumpkin stuff here in New Zealand, and I can't get my head around it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Toni! I like the chi latte better, do they have that over in NZ? Try a pumpkin candle :) mmmmm. So grateful for your sweet comment! xo
DeleteAGGHH!!I need that Mario scarf. SO adorable.
ReplyDeleteI know right?! Wish I could knit that good!! xo
DeleteMy favorite memory of fall would be the bright orange maple trees and field trips to the apple farm for cider and donuts. :-)
ReplyDeleteWe take a field trip for pre-school every year to the pumpkin patch, it's usually HOT but it still puts me in the spirit! Thank you for the comment!
DeleteIf only I enjoyed pumpkin... lol. But I'm trying to be fall nerdy on a budget! Unemployement, woo!
ReplyDeleteWorking on toning down my shopping as well!
DeleteI'm always finding new Etsy stores to favorite in your posts, haha. LOVE those scarves. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Steph I LUV Etsy too much amazing stuff not enough $$ :) xo
DeleteFall is my favourite season and we are definitely experiencing Fall weather here in Northern Ontario, Canada. Pumpkin everything is my favourite! I've been drinking pumpkin lattes, eating pumpkin candies, and burning pumpkin candles! My parents brought me home some candy corn coffee from Target in the U.S. It's actually pretty good and smells just like candy corn!
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE those scarves!
THOSE ALL sound great! I just got some pumpkin croissants from Trader Joe's and they are amazing! Have to go stock up now :)
DeleteAutumn is my favourite time of year without a doubt. I've never tried pumpkin latte but goodness me it sounds delicious! I walk home thru the most adorable woods and being able to see all of the wonderful colours on the trees that autumn brings is just so lovely. x
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of the Autumn colors! That is the one thing I miss about living on the East Coast :) xx
DeleteYESSSSSSSS -- sorry, too enthusiastic? NEVER!!
ReplyDeletePerfect amount Emelie!! xx
DeleteI love scarves and sweaters! Can't wait for the weather to cool down to wear them :D

Jessica it takes too long to cool down here in CA, I'm ready now! LOL xx
DeleteI love this time of year as well! The weather cools down and Halloween is just around the corner!
ReplyDeleteSo ready for a cool down, suppose to be 90 this weekend :( Have to start thinking of my Halloween costume!! xx
DeleteI love fall and pumpkin everything. It stays pretty warm around here until about Halloween. I'm ready for layers!
ReplyDeleteShawna, same here...going to to be a hot weekend in LA...so ready for some cool days!
DeleteWoke up this morning to the perfect fall morning. Misty and rainy out with a little bit of cool weather. Chilly in college and I had to purchase a sweater since I forgot one at home. Never can have too many sweaters in fall. :)
ReplyDeleteRebecca, I am so jealous! Have a great Autumn day! xx
Deletei need that walking dead scarf!!
ReplyDeleteand i love this time of the year too! just wish it wasnt warm still! haha.
x
The only down side to living in CA is the lack of seasons! :) xx
DeleteMy favourite things about autumn include: leather boots! apple picking! using my oven to cook without turning the house into a sauna! POP Montreal music festival! and finally, an excuse to start knitting again.
ReplyDeleteMariko, I like the oven idea! I have to turn on the AC when I use it! UGH! xx
DeleteYES TO PIE, I love me some pie xoxo
ReplyDelete♥ Cateaclysmic ♥
That pie looks soooo.. good - I never come across pie as nice as that here. And your sweater IS super cute, I love the Jurassic Park tee peeking out under too. Great Autumn picks.
ReplyDeleteAutumn is my favorite season too! Love your list :)
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, pie! I love the smell of a baking pie. It's the best!
ReplyDeletePumpkin and pecan pie are my favorite for this time of year :) Autumn is my favorite season despite not really getting much of a season here in FL
ReplyDeletePumpkin croissants, no way! Our Trader Joe's has most of the pumpkin stuff in stock, with the last wave coming in next week, and we already overdid it. Cookies, cheesecake, pancake mix, cornbread mix, pumpkin butter. Oh, so good!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pumpkin croissants from TJs too - my favorite!! Cannot wait for SoCal to cool down!!
ReplyDeletePumpkin!!! I wonder if my local TJ's has any pumpkin croissants in stock yet...
ReplyDeleteI love your photos! Scarves are my all time favourite <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Katya! Me too and it was almost cool enough to wear one today...and now back to 100s tomorrow! LOL
ReplyDeleteI was just there the other day and sadly no! Good luck! xx
ReplyDeleteIt's been nice the last couple days but this weekend is suppose to be horrid again! :(
ReplyDeleteLOL I did a bit of a TJ's pumpkin binge but not too bad yet! They do have the best pumpkin stuff though! xx
ReplyDeleteDITTO!!! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Alice! xx
ReplyDeleteI really need to try pecan pie! Hear ya on the seasons though! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma! xx
ReplyDeleteYES! Pie haha! And yay for sweater weather!
ReplyDeleteAnd While I enjoy pumpkin, my favorite fall flavor ( #4 on my list) is coming soon!
Pie!!! I can't wait for pumpkin and apple pies!
ReplyDeleteAw love it all and totally feel you for losing the sense of season in LA. Sadly Disneyland decor is the easiest way to tell it is no longer summer..

Love this list! And I love that Daryl scarf you linked to. So adorable. It's been on my wish list for a while now!
ReplyDeleteScarves are totally the best. And I totally feel you on the lack of "real" autumn; living in Texas, it's very rarely "cool." (It's hot 350 days of the year and then cold the other 15, haha.)
ReplyDeleteAwesome list! I agree with you: pumpkin everything!!! Scarves are also my favorite :) (I have lots of them)

Yay pumpkin season!!! Every time you instagram a photo of pie my mouth waters! I want to visit LA again just so I check out Republic of Pie!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about all the pumpkin flavored stuff too! I need some pumpkin spice tea in my life especially!
ReplyDeleteScarves forever and pumpkin everything!!!! For Jen and I, we each have Halloween on the very top of our lists!!!!
ReplyDeleteHalloween is the best thing about Autumn. Here it's not so much "sweater weather" as "thick hoodie and coat" weather... already. Plus the shops have their christmas rubbish out already, it's like we skip autumn and head straight into winter
ReplyDeleteCozy PJs.....yessssss. The best! Warm snuggly clothes are just fantastic.
