I’m the voice behind The Nerdy Girlie, a space where real life, personal growth, and a little bit of fandom all collide. This blog has followed me through some of the biggest chapters of my life: leaving a marriage, rebuilding from scratch, buying a home on my own, falling in love again, and figuring out what I actually want my life to look like. It hasn’t always been clean or easy. But it’s been mine. There was a point in my life where everything felt uncertain. So I did something simple: I started meeting people for coffee. Friends. Strangers. People I barely knew and people who knew me too well. One conversation at a time, I started to piece myself back together. Some of those conversations were light and easy. Others cracked me open in ways I didn’t expect. But all of them moved me forward. This project has become something much bigger than I planned. 100 Cups of Coffee is my memoir about divorce, dating, self-discovery, and rebuilding a life that finally feels like mine. It’s messy, honest, funny in places, and a little bit heartbreaking in others because that’s what starting over actually looks like. Hey Megan, my daughter is going to a dance soon with the theme "internet freaks and social media geeks." We cannot come up an outfit. She doesn't want to look like all the other girls who will wear a solid color dress with a paper facebook, twitter, etc. logo pinned to the front. Any ideas?

Hey Thank you for the comment! I had an idea that she could dress up like the Twitter bird. Blue dress with some blue feather wings or maybe some sort of feather head band. Maybe some leggings that have some Twitter feed written on them? Hope that helps! Let me know how it turns out!! xo
