Musical Awakening is my debut novel — and it's the most personal thing I've ever written.
It follows June Snow, a concert photographer and music blogger who falls for a British musician across four years, four cities, and a thousand small moments that change everything. It's told through prose, blog posts, tweets, and texts — the way love actually unfolds in real life.
It was inspired by my real musical experiences featured here on the blog. The music, the venues, the feeling of being completely undone by a song — all of it made it onto the page.
