about meg

Hi my name is Megan and I am running on coffee! I have a passion for community. On my site, I want to connect with woman so that we can encourage and support each other! My mission is to always be honest and upfront. I want to help others because it took me a long time to figure out where I wanted my life to go and now that I'm living my best life, I want you to know that it is never too late!

In June of 2014 I moved from sunny San Diego where I spent 6 wonderful years, to the bright lights and big city that is LA. I missed San Diego at first, but as I begin to figure out my place in time and space, LA became where I needed to be to find the true me on my newly single adulting journey. I am all about reaching your potential, fostering relationships and self evolution. Don't be afraid to be you and share it with the world. Be your own superhero!

As of January 2016 my new home is DENVER! I've stepped out of the LA bubble and am happier for it! I am all about continued growth. Living my most healthy lifestyle and setting out on that next adventure!

I've always been a photographer. It is in my blood. Since graduating from Penn State in 2005, I've been able to photograph: families, children, concerts, events, weddings and engagements, plus I have done a lot of brand photography for partners of the site! It will always be my favorite thing, next to writing! Want to work together? Let's do it!!
Speaking of writing! I am in the process of pitching a memoir! 100 Cups Of Coffee started out as a Futurama fan project, turned divorce diary and finally my full length memoir. 100 Cups of Coffee takes you through my divorce, dating and self discovery. Sharing my story through words and photos. Read bits of it by clicking the link and let me know what you think of each cup in the comments! Share your stories and cups by participate in our photo challenge! #100cupsofcoffee

Hey Megan, my daughter is going to a dance soon with the theme "internet freaks and social media geeks." We cannot come up an outfit. She doesn't want to look like all the other girls who will wear a solid color dress with a paper facebook, twitter, etc. logo pinned to the front. Any ideas?
Thanks, Marianne from Texas

Hey Thank you for the comment! I had an idea that she could dress up like the Twitter bird. Blue dress with some blue feather wings or maybe some sort of feather head band. Maybe some leggings that have some Twitter feed written on them? Hope that helps! Let me know how it turns out!! xo
