San Diego Comic Con 2015 - Wrath Of Con Panel
👉 Grab my Comic-Con checklist here
I think that I spoke from the heart during the panel. I don't feel like I was totally myself, so maybe deep down I was a bit nervous, but my fellow panelist Crazy 4 Comic Con, An Englishman in San Diego and Friends of CCI + all of my friends in the audience helped me loosen up and be true self for a few brief moments. It was so great to see so many faces of friends I've made because of blogging! I wish we could all see each other more than once a year!
What was even more amazing was that I had a few friends text me WHILE I was on the panel! One was Travis the Grimm! His words of encouragement while I was on the panel and seeing him in the audience was so sweet and made me feel so special! Thanks lil blogging brother!
This has been a crazy con, and as I finish this post on Saturday, I'm finally getting to enjoy the con! I am so happy to be here and need to get writing! Follow along on Instagram, trying to get as many photos up there as possible! I'm on a role nerds...gonna write another post now!! xx

5 Fandom Friday: Favorite Geeky Stores
Being nerdy and girlie I love me some geeky fashion! I just started writing an Everyday Cosplay monthly or MORE series over on Syfy's Blastr sister site Fangrrl...check it out HERE! So this prompt is right up my alley. Here is where I shop for all my geek chic looks!
1. Jordandene. My most favorite nerd company. Jordan's tees are so versatile. I've styled her shirts in so many different ways! Dressed up, down and cozy style! BUT the moment I saw this Kylo Ren shirt I knew I had to have it and it was paired perfect with this sequin skirt for my birthday night!
2. Geek Fuel. I've order from a ton of nerdy t-shirt sites, but Geek Fuel is my favorite. The length is perfect, the sleeves are perfect and the fact that they put one in every single one of their monthly subscription box is so awesome. Look at this tee....it is Doctor Who and concert related! The best of both of my worlds!
3. Look Human. Did you see my favorite Valentine's Day tees? Well Look Human came through for me to look fashionable and still keep it nerdy! I love the fandom designs mixed with a bit of cheeky fun!
4. Gold Bubble Clothing. I adore this Gold Bubble dress. It fits perfectly and is subtle enough wear at anytime!
5. Louise Edu. It has been two years and counting that Louise has made me an amazing San Diego Comic Con swag bag outfit! Isn't she amazing?! It is a hit every year and I would never ask anyone else to make me such amazing fashion for the nerdy girlie in me!
WOW! I loved this prompt! It is after all what my blog is named for. Nerdy and girlie is how I live my life and if I can share that with the world through fashion even better! Don't forget to share YOUR links over on Twitter for a RT and also share your favorite geeky designers in the comments below!
Happy FRI-YAY nerds!

San Diego Comic Con 2015 - Geeks Go Glam
👉 Grab my Comic-Con checklist here
The party was an amazing success. We learned A LOT. And we did it together!
Quirk Books brought an amazing custom photo booth with a background straight out of Sam Maggs' The Fangirl's Guide to the Galaxy. It was a hit all night long! I WISH I had time to be in it more. THOUGH I was in in quite a bit and LOVE the photos with my nerds. I will be framing them when I get back home! I LOVE these nerd girls!
Kombucha on Tap brought us some amazing drinks! It was my very first time trying Kombucha and I loved it! They also had coffee which I HAD to Instagram in my #100cupsofcoffee series!
We also had to hit up the photo booth with his GORG and talented girlfriend. I'm so happy to have these cool kids as friends. #LA4Eva
Wattpad provided our guests with some AWESOME swag bags...which included a super nerdy Cards Against Humanity deck! I've never played before and I cannot WAIT to use these cards! Who's ready for a game night?!
This party would NOT have happened if Liz and I didn't have some amazingly awesome nerdy friends. They volunteered at the party and made it perfect! They aren't just volunteers they are our nerd family! Thank you to Tillie, JD, Els, Noel, Joie, Brooke, Dan, and John for making our party amazing and letting Liz and I enjoy it!
People were freaking out for our awesome giveaway items from Think Geek Solutions, The Geeky Hostess and High Voltage Magazine. Thank you guys for making our guests so happy!
ONE MORE BIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGG thank you to EVERYONE who was apart of this party, who came and who supported us and believed in this idea. Liz and I met for the first time at San Diego Comic Con three cons ago {we'd been Twitter friends for longer} and I cannot image my life without this strong and inspiring woman. I would have never have done this party without her. My CON-fidence has grown ten fold thanks to her.
NOW who's ready for Geeks Go Glam 2016?! We would love to do it again next year and make it bigger and better! Stay tuned!

Wonder Con 2015!
Wonder Con was amazing! I went down with High Voltage Magazine and we had our very first booth experience together! I was so happy to have a place for all of my nerdy friends to come and hangout. I was able to see so many more people that way. Plus spread the word on how amazing High Voltage Magazine is!
Saturday of Wonder Con I helped launch the LA chapter of Geek Girl Brunch with Your Friend Elle and Wrong Button Blog! What an amazing experience that was! I was and am so happy to be a part of bringing together the geek girl community! We met at a gorgeous lil restaurant around the corner from the convention center on a beautiful back patio. SoCal really is the best. It was the perfect day to sit outside, chat and enjoy a delicious brunch.
If you are in the LA area and are looking to join us please sign up on the Geek Girl Brunch website. We already have our NEXT brunch set for Saturday May 2nd. So sign up now and we will get you on the invite list!
My very first panel of the con was Her Universe {nerdy and girlie am I right?!}. I rushed over from the GGB and made it just in time and BOUNUS, I got a front row seat! That is the magic of Wonder Con. I was in a San Diego Comic Con mindset, but after that panel I knew that lines were not going to be an issue.
Her Universe creator Ashley Eckstein was as adorable as ever. She is such a great representation of fangirls! We got an exclusive sneak peak of her new line of nerd girl clothing featuring Age Of Ultron! You can pre-order it now on her site and it will hit Hot Topic stores on May 12th.
Ashley also announced that there WILL be another Her Universe fashion show at this year's San Diego Comic Con on Thursday July 9th! I have a few friends entering, good luck you all!
My second and last panel of Wonder Con was Orphan Black. This one had a bit of a queue, but I wasn't worried about getting in, the room was quite big. I was so happy when we were given some sweet swag! Orphan Black exclusive buttons that I just HAD to send to my wonderful nerd girlfriend Being Geek Chic {she is an uber fan!}
The panel showed a ton of clips of season three and it looks amazing Clone Club! The cast is so appreciative and funny in person, it was great getting to see them. I tried at SDCC but you all know SDCC. That is one of the great pluses of a smaller con.
My Saturday ended with my very first Masquerade. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was definitely not what I saw. There were some great and lovely costumes, but after a very long two days at a con, the crowd was just a bit too much for me!
The host would let the crowd say the number of the contestant up next and the crowd decided to make that drag out longer than necessary. Saturday was my night to write for High Voltage Magazine, so I just wanted to see the costumes, hear the winner and then be able to write my article. I ended up leaving the event only ten costumes in. I was sad to miss a couple of my friends but was happy when I was in bed by 11 p.m. LOL

Keeping Up With My Blog At San Diego Comic Con With The HP Pavilion 17.3” Notebook
The storm that is San Diego Comic Con has finally subsided....TEAR! I am already in full SDCC depression mode. Here are 8 of the ways I'm combating that! But enough sad! Let's focus on the happiness that happened during the con!
The HP Pavilion 17.3” Notebook was easy enough to fit in my SDCC survival bag. So working anywhere I could find time at SDCC was a breeze. Windows 10's InstantGo technology allowed me to boot up and resume working quickly when I found the time.
Portable enough to get out while traveling to and from the con. The Trolley was CRAZY, but that didn't stop me from getting in some writing time! My favorite Windows 10 function was the ability to have multiple apps on the screen at once. Perfect for writing and keeping up with all the social media updates!
And with Windows 10 there was MORE than enough battery life to last through an entire day of editing photos and writing posts. PLUS with 1 TB hard drive, I could never take too many photos! #NoSleepTillSDCC
At only $699.95 plus free shipping, exclusively on the HSN, the laptop doesn't break the con budget and I was still able to treat myself to a few things while at SDCC!
How did you bloggers fair at SDCC?! Get much writing done?! Share with me in the comments below! PLUS don't miss out on this exclusive The HP Pavilion 17.3” Notebook on sale ONLY at HSN on July 18th!

San Diego Comic Con 2015 - Day Four
THE END OF SDCC 2015!!!! BUT there is still one more day. And guess what? It was the best day! Spoiler alert I didn't cry this day! LOL
We had to do a quick good bye to Nerd on the Run ON the Trolley. Probably better that way. I was so over my crazy emotions by then! Then The Gamer Geek and I were off to the Farewell to Phineas and Ferb panel. The Music Maven TIRED for the 4th time to get the Vikings swag...but it was capped for the day AGAIN! Sooooo she made a coffee run for us and joined us in the panel.
ALL three of us are HUGE Phineas and Ferb fans. There were a lot of tears during this good bye panel. Especially when the creators thanked the fans for ten years of support and then we gave him and the cast a standing ovation!
We wiped away the tears and headed back down to the con floor for a final go round!
Finally made a purchase...because...DUH!
Saw TWO amazing cosplayers...my best girl Angi Viper!
And for the first time Traci Hines who LOVED my HP tattoo and was also dressed appropriately!
The Gamer Geek was lucky enough to get a snap with our first celeb encounter of the con Guillermo Del Toro... was he ever a happy fanboy!
We saw TWO of our family fandoms...The Iron Giant!
AND this amazing Kronk cosplay from the Emperor's New Groove!
Then per con tradition, our last stop was the Nintendo Gaming Lounge in the Marriott. I had to pick up an extra life because #ConComa!
I wasn't able to say good bye to Being Geek Chic. Which we both decided was probably a good thing as we would have never let go and made a big messy scene! LOL BUT she did manage to make me cry with this special blog post. I love that lady so much and thanks to SDCC we are friends!
My final goodbye was to The Music Maven and The Gamer Geek. I made that one quick too. I told them I'll see them for Christmas...and the A Silent Film fall tour. I am super proud I left San Diego happy and with no tears shed.
It was a good con looking back. It was a tough one, but I made it and now LIFE is about to happen. I can't believe everything that happened this SDCC and I wouldn't change this con for the world. It was a growing and learning experience. Thank you to everyone who made it special. If you are reading this...that is YOU!
See you at SDCC 2016 nerds! xx
