The Story Behind June Snow πŸ“–πŸŽΆπŸ’–

One question I've been asked since releasing Musical Awakening is...

"How much of June Snow is based on you?"

The answer is both simple and complicated...πŸ˜‚

Like June, I spent many years surrounded by music. I've stood in the front row of venues waiting for artists to take the stage. I've traveled for concerts. I've experienced the excitement of discovering musicians whose songs seem to understand you better than you understand yourself.

Like June, I also built a creative career around my passions. Photography and writing became my way of sharing with the world, telling my stories through images and words.

She's a time capsule, an alternate reality. Something I could have had and did for a brief moment in time.

She says things I wish I had said years ago and struggles with fears I've definitely experienced myself.

What she shares most with me is her heart.

At the beginning of Musical Awakening, June is successful by most definitions. She has a career she loves. She's built something meaningful for herself. Yet she still wonders if she's allowed to want more. More creativity. More adventure. More connection.

That feeling became the foundation of her character.

I wanted to write about someone who spends years supporting other people's dreams before realizing she deserves to chase her own.

The photography, the blogging, the travel, the excitement of live performances, those all came from pieces of my own experiences and interests. But June's journey became something larger than all of those things.

Her story is about finding your voice.

It's about taking risks.

It's about learning that love isn't something that arrives and magically fixes everything. Instead, the right person helps you become more fully yourself.

Which I'm lucky to say I've finally found myself.

Richmond Adams may be the musician who captures June's attention, but the true love story of Musical Awakening is June's relationship with her own dreams.

If you've ever stood on the edge of a big decision, wondered whether you were ready for the next chapter of your life, or found yourself cheering for everyone around you while quietly setting your own ambitions aside, then you have something in common with June Snow.

You can purchase Musical Awakening here. Thank you for your years of support, love and friendship.
