The Honeymoon: Day 6, Windsor Castle 🇬🇧

It was our final day in England, it started off with a bang and ended with a sigh. The relief that we would finally be home was hitting me and I was happy to begin the long trek back home to Denver. But first we had a nice slow start at our Airbnb and then made our way to our final adventure of the trip, Windsor Castle.

Our time in England had its ups and downs but being able to step away from the trauma and enjoy the trip was hard but important. I was constantly checking to see if I had my emergency passport on my person, every time we left the rental car I made sure all of our belongings were hidden away in the trunk and that the car was locked. I even peeked in on my cat Simon's camera at home and cried.

But once there was some space between those things, I truly enjoyed the trip. The town of Windsor was so lovely and sweet. The castle was breathtaking and again we were graced by such lovely weather.

We toured the grounds, had some treats and enjoyed our final day of the trip. With the flowers in full bloom I was truly looking on the bright side and relaxing into the last moments of our honeymoon. When tough and surprising things happen, I always hoped I'd have a partner to move through the storm with grace and steadfastness. My husband has that, and no matter what happens then and now, I'm glad to have married this special person.

With that the trip was coming to a close, but not without my first and last fish and chips of the trip!
