Hi, I’m Megan Elvrum! ☕
I started blogging in 2012.
Somewhere along the way, it turned into something bigger than I expected… a space for rebuilding, growth, and figuring out who you are when everything changes.
Now, all these years later, I’m self-publishing my first novel Musical Awakening.
Thank you for being here! π
"I loved this book from the beginning. I could not put this book down as I followed this couple through each and every adventure. Megan keeps your interest alive with each page and chapter wanting to know will this friendship be more. Will they fall in love?"

"A beautiful love story about the joy of hearing that one incredible song sung by the artist that ignites your soul and changes your life forever."

How funny. You put out these instructions and I had JUST finished doing this myself, for the exact same Twitter handle.
ReplyDelete#GreatMinds think alike << do hashtags work here too? #FacebookHasHashtags << Just kidding around.
ur the funniest!
DeleteThis example looks like it is exclusively for iPhone users. Is there something similar for Android users?
ReplyDeleteI would do it on the twitter website.

ReplyDeleteI just did this on my Samsung Android phone.
1. Go to your Android's Twitter app.
2. Press your phone's Menu button (same row as Home, Back, Search, etc.)
3. Select Settings.
3. Select the Twitter account you wish to receive notifications for.
4. There should be different notification boxes to check off or edit. Mine are: Notifications, Vibrate on incoming notifications, Ringtone for notifications, Notification light.
I hope this helps!
Thank you for posting!

ReplyDeleteYou can go to individual accounts you follow and select which ones you want to receive notifications for. Like in the post above, I can access this by clicking on their bust image on their Twitter page.
You can subscribe through texts on any phone by sending a text msg with "follow thenerdmachine" to 40404 in the US. I believe the number is different based on your country. I used to get twitter sms alerts before I got an android and for android the process is the same as above. :)
