Going Back to Comic-Con in My 40s (How I've Changed) ✨

I didn’t expect to come back to an old version of myself.

Not in my 40s.
Not after everything that’s happened.

But here I am,
curled up with Simon, coffee in hand,
fully invested in Fringe like it’s 2008 again!

My Personal Journey Finding a Job in Denver

In the last six months, I've applied to 137 jobs. I've gotten 9 interviews and Wednesday, July 25th, 2018 I got my first job offer! I cannot believe it. I am now going to be making 2x more than my previous job. My second paycheck a month is going to be a just a bonus. Did I say I cannot believe it?! There are so many more things I'm going to be able to do I cannot wait to start planning.

All of this happened, I believe because I put in my two weeks at my last job. I had been there for 2 1/2 years and I just knew I had to take the leap of faith if I was going to be able to move on. Here are a few things I'm excited for and ways that helped me FINALLY get to this day!

Building Your 1st Capsule Wardrobe

In 2018 I am really looking towards, less is more! I'm looking to refine my style and invest in clothes, take better care of them and stop buying all the things all the time. Which I don't usually do, but an impulse purchase has been known to happen. So I'm jumping into creating my first capsule closet.

I stumbled upon Style Bee's 10x10 capsule closet challenge on Instagram and was completely intrigued! Along with the capsule wardrobe, I've been obsessed with Parisian simplicity and style. So bringing those both together, I'm going to share with you my first attempt, struggle and purchases for my Winter Capsule wardrobe.
