flying solo // breckenridge, co

I'm done waiting for someone to go places with. Time to get out and fly solo.

This summer I really wanted to get out of my comfort zone and try something new! As a pisces I LOVE the water and paddle-boarding (SUP) is super popular here in Colorado. So I made a reservation at Lake Dillion, drove an hour and got on the water for the first time! I LOVED it!!

Stay:

*LOGE Breckenridge - I found LOGE on Instagram and have been wanting to stay there for a while! It was cute little room, with (NOTE) a small bed. LOL But I loved the view and they had a hammock in the room that I took another nap in! LOL

To Do:

*Stand Up Paddle Colorado - Lake Dillon - This is where I made my SUP reservation and they were so super nice! I got off to a rough start, but as soon as I got a handle on it about 10 minutes in, I was having the best time! I even laid down and took a nap, ahhhhhh. Plus I never fell off which was super important to me! I cannot wait to do this again next summer and hopefully get my own!

*Breckenridge Troll - I woke up early and headed over to the troll from the hotel. It was a quick 10 minute drive south. There was a huge free parking lot and the walk up to the troll took about 2 minutes! Fun thing to check off my Colorado list!

Eat:

*Again I brought all my own food. I was only staying over night so it was just easier and cheaper. The hotel had coffee and I brought that with me on the walk to the troll.

Shop:

*ReSaddled Thrift Store - I found THE best thrift store! I got so many nice items and at a great price! I was there for a good two hours!

I love Lake Dillon. It is an easy one hour drive from Denver. I came back for a hike around the lake later in September and it was just as perfect. In the winter they build ice castles and I love coming up to see that as well. So much to do here in Colorado I try to see as much as I can!
