Figuring Out My Place In Time And Space: I Love You LA

I have had no feelings since returning to LA. I’ve lost my feelings. I have said I always wanted to know what that would feel like {Heart In A Box} and it finally happened. I’m saying good bye to the city I love, the places I've called home for the past year and the people who have carried me through this emotional journey of being single/alone/me for the first time. These are second goodbyes. They are easier. And harder. Confusing. And eye opening.
I never wanted to move to LA and now the city has become my soul mate. I will be back. It will one day be my forever home. It just can’t be that right now. For more than one reason.
In the past two days music has begun to heal me. Two nights in a row, I looked around The Echo and it was filled to the brim with people who get music just like me. I soaked in those moments, begin to float out of my despair and my emotions slowly began to return. I am myself once more. I am at peace surrounded by my LA music squad. I'm facing a band whose songs I don’t know, but words and melody heal my heart and lifts my soul back into its proper state.
I love you LA. I never thought I would. The friends, the places, the coffee, the pie

Denver will become my new home. I WILL find all of those things there {my squad is waiting}, but I’ll never forget and always have a piece of my heart in the city that changed it and I completely.
I will be sharing my entire road trip on all of my socials. But Snap Chat is going to get the most play! I have really enjoyed being able to do mini videos there and share not so perfect photos. I will be posting my favorite and prettiest photos on Instagram and writing about my journey on the blog as well, so stay tuned!

I even have an epic playlist for the journey {obvi!!!} you can listen along here on Spotify! I'll keep updating it as I go along as well so keep checking back!

Thank you nerds for your continued love and support. It means so much to me! xx

Moving is always difficult, but you are so strong, I have no doubt that you will thrive where ever you are! Denver is one lucky city.

The West Coast will miss you! Godspeed, Nerdy Girlie, until the siren call beckons us all to Comic-Con next year!

Your bravery is such an inspiration + I can't wait to see your adventures in Denver!

My husband + I are getting sick of living in the city we've always lived in, so now we're making lists of possibilities once he graduates. It excites + terrifies me. This place is all I've known + where all my family is, but it just doesn't fit the person I've become.

I'm late to this, but I know you're doing well, and LA made you happy when you needed it most, but now, your adventures need new terrain! You got this! Luv you girlie!
