Music Monday is short and sweet this week.
If you listen to one album this week let it be Cold War Kids' Hold My Home. It's their 5th studio album and it's everything that I love about Cold War Kids -- incredible harmonies, jangly guitars, and percussion/bass with a lot of bombast.
I love the single First from Hold My Home so much. It's the song that I have on repeat at the moment. Have I mentioned I love it?
Hold My Home is out Tuesday, October 21st. Give it a listen and make sure you get to a Cold War Kids show near you – one of the best live acts you’ll ever see!
I didn't really give CWK a listen because I didn't really like "Hang Me Out to Dry" a few years back.
ReplyDeleteHowever, "All this Could Be Yours" is epic, and has a nice pace! I think I need to re-think my position...
I'll have to try and hear the complete album (and remember that a music single is like a book cover: not the basis with which to judge a band).
