When MTV Was COOL!

MTV was my go to channel throughout the early 2000s.  Let me know if you are with me on this one.  I have not tuned into MTV for at least 8 years!  TRL was my jam and I LOVED Carson Daly.  But now there is no music.  That was the main reason I watched to see new videos, to hear new music  and see the artists now I have The Music Maven, she has replaced MTV!  

TRL.  My lil tween heart raced home everyday after school to see TRL and my pop icons on the small screen.  I would argue with the results and always pull for NSYNC and Britney Spears.  When Carson Daly left the show so did I.  He was the heart and soul of the show and it was sad to see the show without him.  Carson was TRL.

MTV's first original movie 2g+ther.  With my boy band obsession at its peak 2ge+her was right up my alley.  I had both of their albums, the movie on VHS and watched the show whenever it aired!  When I heard they were doing a reunion show in LA last year I squeed like a tween fan girl!

Daria.  I was more a Quinn than a Daria.  Now I'm Daria with a still a bit of Quinn!  I think it is time for a re-watch now that it is available on Amazon Prime!

Singled Out with Chris Hardwick and Jenny McCarthy.  My lil tween self would have loved to be on this show.  As the picker of course.  Now, not so much.  But it was a fun show to veg out on.

Pimp My Ride.  I loved Xibit he was so funny and sweet!  I always loved when they decked out the girl's cars and made them super girlie and pink!

Cribs.  Back in the day when they did famous celebs.  It was fun to see a peek inside my tween idols lives and drool over their closets!

Remote Control.  It was such a fun game show.  I always wanted the pink recliner!  I think I would rule at this game now a days.  TV is my pastime of choice!
