Denver Brunch Tour: Onefold

You would never know from the outside that this tiny restaurant on the corder of construction and no parking could change your life. I went to Onefold {1420 East 18th St.} for the first time in December when I came out to stay in Denver with my BFF for the month. What I thought was to be a girls brunch ended up throwing my girl power, girl boss self for a loop.

{Read about that surprise guest HERE}

Open the door and walk into a galley style seating area complete with an adorable white bench flowing against one wall and flower lined tiny tables for guests to crowd around together. You must really like your company if you are to dine here! Which I always do!
You can also choose a bar seat that over looks the kitchen flowing with tasty smells. Sitting down with a menu, I jumped right to my favorite dish: eggs, hash browns and toast, but my BFF encouraged me to try something new. So I picked: BREAKFAST TACOS.
YES. Breakfast tacos. My brunch lyfe changed then and there. A house made flower tortilla, crunchy hash browns, scrambled eggs, topped off with mozzarella cheese. Completing the order are two house made salsas, one red and one green, both amazing! I fell in love upon my first bite. In two months I've been back four times. And every time it is breakfast tacos. Though my second favorite would be the breakfast fried rice and the crepes are also amazing!

Basically, Onefold is not to be missed!
I'm not a huge fan of their coffee as it is medium roast, but I do adore their chia latte and orange juice soda!

To walk off all those crazy calories...not that I'm counting, head over to the adorable little shop called Soul Haus {1225 East 17th Ave.} and next to that is Pandora on the Hill {1227 East 17th Ave.}. Get some great eats and then shop off those calories...again totally NOT counting :)!

Denver Brunch Tour: Revelry Kitchen

Happy Hump Day...we are half way to the weekend nerds!

My favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Wake up. Sloooooooowly. Stretch and snuggle my San Diego Comic Con exclusive Nibbler stuffed animal then head out for a late breakfast. Or as it's liked to be called brunch. But really, anytime is a good time for breakfast!

My favorite thing to do in a new city?

Find the cutest, coziest and yummiest spot to eat said brunch! My go to order at any brunch spot is: eggs over easy, hash browns and an english muffin with butter and jelly, strawberry. OH don't ever forget the COFFEE!

My new city is Denver, so now it is time to grab my friends and find that perfect spot to call our own.

First up Revelry Kitchen. Welllllll technically second...but I Ocean Eyes and I JUST went to Revelry and loved it so I need to share this one first :)
Located on the corner of a busy street and a cozy neighborhood, sits a quaint old house that is Revelry Kitchen {4140 West 38th Ave.}. Inside is open and bright full of wooden tables, benches and old chairs. A large and beautifully modern bar sits directly in the middle of the space. Windows of stain glass are a small tucked away treasure.
The menu is classic using as many local vendors as possible. My favorite? The bacon. I don't even really like bacon but Tender Belly is amazing. I loved it so much I stole Ocean Eyes' because I opted for fruit with my eggs and hash browns. OH the hash browns! They were the BEST I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to crispy perfection. I could eat them all day.
The coffee?! Perfect! I've been to many places in Denver and LA that are chic and adorable, but the coffee is meh. If I cannot have a good coffee with breakfast I'm super sad. Revelry's coffee is great. Ocean' Eyes got the spiciest Bloody Mary and I had at taste, loved it then the spice kicked in! He loved it which is what really mattered!
Tummy's full it was time to rush over to Deadpool {#LOVEDIT} but if there was time, Tennyson St. is only a couple blocks over and they have some great places to check out. I LOVE the Denver Cat Company's cat cafe {3929 Tennyson St.}, all of the cool street art and a great lil shop called eXtraOrdinary Gift Co. {3867 Tennyson St.}

Revelry Kitchen will definitely be on the list for top spots to continue going too after I've tried everything Denver had to offer in the breakfast department. Heading to Denver soon? Or already live here? You much check this place out!
