In a Denver jewelry store on South Broadway, a ring twinkled and caught my eye. I set down my coffee and tried it on. It was what I had been searching for but didn’t want to admit out loud yet. I bought it then and there, replacing my wedding band. It was modest. Even more delicate than the ring I already wore. Discreet. A way to test what not wearing a ring could feel like.

100 Cups Of Coffee: #6

Hi, I’m Megan Elvrum! ☕
I started blogging in 2012.
Somewhere along the way, it turned into something bigger than I expected… a space for rebuilding, growth, and figuring out who you are when everything changes.
Now, all these years later, I’m self-publishing my first novel Musical Awakening.
Thank you for being here! π
let the journey begin

"I'm a sucker for epistolary novels, so when I first read about it on Megan's blog I knew I needed to get my hands on a copy. If you're a millennial that spent their teens and 20's in small show venues every weekend then this is the book for you. A very cute story, perfect for a cozy weekend in with a cup of coffee (or tea) :)"

"As someone who also lives in music and feels it deeply this is a story for you! A quick read that took me to a nostalgic time where music and traveling shaped my life and helped me with some of my own self discoveries. I felt right at home reading this book!"
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ — Erin, Amazon Review

Wow. So raw and powerful! THank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you Meghan! xx
ReplyDeleteI've heard it's a bad sign if you feel the need to "take a break" from a spouse. I feel like, if they came up with stages of a divorce like they have stages of grief, the first would be feeling a need to take a break.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry this relationship ended poorly for you, but your other posts suggest life is looking up. Better to be happy and healthy than to be in an unhealthy relationship.
