5 Fandom Friday: Comfort Foods That Always Make Me Feel Better

I love food!  I love it even more when others make it for me!  If I was going to have a last meal on this Earth, these 5 foods would have to be there!
1.  Mac and Cheese.  This has been my favorite meal since as long as I can remember.  It is still my go to meal for my birthday and my family always obliges!
2.  Apple Pie.  Homemade, from my Nana's recipe with Pillsbury pie crust.  No other.  None!  Then I eat the entire thing by myself. :)
3.  THIS salad.  I first had it when my boss at the pre-school made it.  Now it is my go to meal to bring to other's houses when I visit and everyone loves it!  I can even have it made for me at one of my favorite restaurants Stacked.  I can make it in my sleep :)
4.  Cheesecake Factory 30th Anniversary Cake.  Eight dollars for one piece of cake...totally worth it.  I'm not a huge cheesecake fan, but this one is layers of cheesecake and chocolate cake, perfect!  I probably splurge on this at least once a month.  I always ask for extra whip cream!
5.  Coffee.  I'm not addicted to it...I really am not!  But it is nice to wake up and have a lil routine.  It is comforting!

    I sent The Boyfriend to the store in search of some chocolate cheesecake concoction the other week, and I should have just sent him to the Cheesecake Factory! That cake sounds perfect!

    How do you like your mac & cheese? I like it with bacon, tomato, and breadcrumbs, or just plain ooey-gooey cheesy goodness.

      I'm a plain jane when it comes to mac & cheese! Either it's my Mom's recipe or Trader Joe's microwave meal :) mmmmm!! ps CCK = PERFECT indulgence!

    YES! Mac 'n' Cheese is on my list too! As is coffee as my "Honorable Mention" ( I wasn't sure if I could put it since it is a drink...perhaps one of December's top five could be "5 Drinks I Love (Non-Alcoholic)" and a "5 Party drinks I love"?). And that salad sounds delicious! I've saved the recipe!

    Ooh, mac & cheese! I almost put that on my list too, but I swapped it for something else. The next time you're in SD you should go to Soda & Swine on Adams Ave and try their mac & cheese with bacon. It. Is. PERFECTION. And now I'm hungry!
