Geek Girls Gab with PwnLove

I'm Kaitlin "PwnLove" Stewart. I'm a proud Ravenclaw and video games fashion blogger. I'm currently on a quest to wear an entire year of video games fashion by wearing a new item everyday and with no repeats. I also write and talk about video games over at OTL Gaming. I'm currently based out of Portland, OR. 

The Nerdy Girlie:  What is your 1st nerd memory?

Kaitlin:  Hm, my dad pretty much raised me on computers and technology.  I remember being obsessed with a Sesame Street computer game when I was really little. It was the game that started my love for videos games so I guess I would consider it my first nerd memory. 

TNG:  How and why did you start blogging? 

Kaitlin:  I started blogging because I love to write. I was working in a job where I wasn't writing what I wanted so I started my blog in order to write more creatively. I saw no one really wrote about video games fashion and I couldn't be the only one interested in the subject so I started writing about it on Tumblr. Luckily, I was right there were others interested in the subject of video games fashion. 

TNG:  YOUR favorite blog?

Kaitlin:  I'd have to go with PinkIsTheNewBlog because I love Trent's personal touch that he adds to his blog. You can get entertainment news anywhere but you're connecting with him and getting his take on events. The personal touch and humor that Trent puts into his blog was definitely influential to me when I started PwnLove. I try to always add a personal touch to all my content. 

TNG:  What is your favorite thing/things to nerd out about?

Kaitlin:  Video games fashion.  Playing video games especially Legend of Zelda.  Sorting people into Hogwarts houses.

TNG:  Any tips for San Diego Comic Con? 

Kaitlin:  I've never been but I hear wearing comfy shoes is essential. I also highly recommend bringing hand sanitizer and some extra Vitamin C to any battle off any con crud. Con crud is always awful. The last time I caught it, I was out for a week.

TNG:  Girlie things you love?

Kaitlin:  Fashion.  Pinterest.  Baking.  Shopping.
