Goodbye Raggedy Man & Thank You!
welcome! ππ»♀️
Hi, I’m Megan Elvrum! ☕
I started blogging in 2012.
Somewhere along the way, it turned into something bigger than I expected… a space for rebuilding, growth, and figuring out who you are when everything changes.
Now, all these years later, I’m self-publishing my first novel Musical Awakening.
Thank you for being here! π
let the journey begin

Unfortunately, none of the ones you listed could play the Doctor (they always choose a relative unknown), but otherwise Daniel Radcliffe would've been one of my choices too. :}
When I first heard the news, I was very upset. However, as I think about it I'm beginning to come to terms with it. I'm on the newer side of the fandom as well, and since this will be my first regeneration, I think it will be exciting to meet the new Doctor, see what catch-phrases, companions, and costumes he brings, and to see where the show goes.
(I'm still gonna miss Matt Smith. D:)
I agree with Elizabeth ^^ I even just wrote a blog post myself (http://tinyurl.com/n8hup4l) about how the prospects being rumored about aren't valid candidates. I mean, I'd love to see Colin Morgan make his way back to my favorite British TV show. =)
I'm sad Matt's leaving, but I was sad when Tennant left too. As I've said before on a few other posts, it seemed like Matt's Doctor's journey had come to an end. With the Trenzalore episode, it kinda solidified that. I'm incredibly curious to see who they find to play the Doctor. I'm also interested to see where Moffat brings the character. We've had serious, silly and cold, what next?
I totally agree that Matt Smith had some of the best scenes and episodes of the Doctor Who reboot. It'll be sad to see him go, but I've actually been thinking that it feels like it's time for a change! I'm sure I'll be rewatching the 11th Doctor episodes a lot in the future, though. Definitely my favorite Doctor.
I hope they choose a fairly unknown actor to replace Matt. I do like the idea of Rupert Grint... or maybe a woman, which would be hard to get used to but needs to happen soon, in my opinion! =)
Thank you all for your amazing comments! I am super nervous with the upcoming announcement on Sunday, this is my first time learning about a new Doctor LIVE!!! xo
