If you're heading to San Diego Comic-Con, breakfast can make or break your day especially with early lines, packed schedules, and miles of walking ahead! After 7+ years of attending San Diego Comic-Con, I learned one thing fast: if you don’t in the morning, your entire day suffers.

Here are the best breakfast spots in San Diego to fuel your day (from someone who’s done Comic-Con before and is heading back in my 40s).
1. Fig Tree Cafe - This is our go to Comic Con Preview Night breakfast spot of choice. If you have a car available to you, the Pacific Beach location is my favorite restaurant in San Diego! I've been going here since 2009!

2. Breakfast Republic - A sister restaurant to Fig Tree Cafe. So of course I'd love it! LOL They have great brand representation and I just love their french toast!

3. Little Italy Food Hall - Located in Little Italy, and close to San Diego Comic Con is a cute hangout spot with six food stations featuring global eats, plus a full bar and patio seating. Easy to walk from the convention center.

4. Morning Glory - Little Italy, near the San Diego Convention Center is the HOT place in San Diego. Morning Glory joins the others on the list with a great with a great view, adorably branded plates, funny atmosphere and of course great food! Egg salad sandwich? Fried Rice? Perfect ways to make you fly through lunch without a thought!

5. Better Buzz - This was one of my most favorite places to hang out and blog while I lived in San Diego. There are a ton of store locations this is closest to Comic Con. Though I do love the Point Loma location as well. Great food and I LOVE their coffee. Plus GRAMABLE!!!

6. Donut Bar - Since you are up early anyways, head over to Donut Bar downtown, near the convention center for some FUN and very popular donuts! Hurry though, once they are out for the day they are OUT!

7. Seaport Village - The cutest place to hang if you need a break from San Diego Comic Con. Lots of fresh air, ocean breezes and lots of casual dining options!
