Tokyo Starbucks Reserve Roastery // A 100 Cups Of Coffee Adventure

Starbucks has only 5 Reserve Roastery in the world: Seattle, Shanghai, Milan, New York and Tokyo. Coming Soon....Chicago. So for a coffee nerd like me, I just had to get to the Tokyo Reserve Roastery (the first I've seen)!

What is Starbucks Reserve Roastery? An upscale boutique coffee experience with educational opportunities and handcrafted coffee.
The Tokyo shop opened only about 6 months ago. I sent it to my mom then and there was a 4 hour wait! Luckily that wasn't the case for us. A 15 minute walk from the train station, we arrived right before 9AM and walked right in!

There was so many goodies to buy...I had to stop myself from buying them all right away! LOL Instead we went right to the first floor bar (there are FIVE floors) and ordered our usual cold brew and two different sandwiches. Mine had prosciutto and fontina on a croissant. Spencer's had parm, prosciutto and arugula on a brioche bun. They were both spectacular!
Up on the second floor was all Tea.

Third floor had a gorgeous balcony and the Roastery and a full bar.
I just loved all the details in the shop. A wall full of coffee cups, Tokyo hidden in tea packets, lovely copper accents everywhere and of course the gorgeous view. We spent almost two hours there! And I bought my second mug! It was like our Disneyland....but of course we then had to leave to actually go to Disneyland (Tokyo DisneySea).

Have you been to any of the Reserves? I'm sad I missed the one in NYC and Milan, but hope to visit the Seattle one this year! Any questions about the Tokyo Reserve, leave them in the comments below! I look forward to sharing even more Japan adventures with you on my upcoming posts!
