Sunday Funday: Football Fashion

Sunday is my favorite day of the week. I've never been a huge sports fan. But I have been a fan of fashion!

When I moved to Denver, I didn't realize how big the Broncos were. I've been around them my entire life, my dad is a huge fan, and now Ocean Eyes. But it's not until I begin to be invited to football parties that wanted to dress the part! Here are 3 ways to get your football fashion on for the fare weather fan!

DON'T BLINK! Awesomely Nerdy & Girlie Apparel from Jordandene!

Have you ever wanted something for so long that it finally came to fruition?  I have been lusting after Jordandene's adorably nerdy tanks for a long time even featuring one in my 5 Fandom Friday post:  Geeky Clothing Items I Need In My Closet Immediately!

One day on our Female Geek Blogger G+ page {you are a member right?!}, Jordan asked fellow nerd girl bloggers if they would like to review her apparel!  I of course jumped at the chance and Jordan let me pick my favorite tank:  Don't Blink!

The saying has sentimental value because it was the Doctor Who episode that made me a Whovian and it is the one that I always tell new viewers to watch first if they want to know/understand/love what Doctor Who is all about!  It is the perfect starting episode!

Since Jordan was so generous, I wanted to make the most of her tank!  I am wanting to wear it everyday, so I decided to make THREE outfit options for you!  Super casual, dressy casual and California casual! It is still completely warm enough to wear just the tank here in LA, but I know the rest of the country/world is actually getting weather so here are three looks I hope help you out!

This is my go to everyday, favorite outfit!  I love layers and if a scarf didn't cover up the lettering on the tank, I would be wearing one of those too!  Layers are perfect for these days when the weather cannot make up it's mind!  The Weeping Angel necklace {a gift from The Gamer Geek} was so fun to add to this look!

I LOVE this sweater I just bought at Francesca's.  I don't have anything like it and the color and pattern just popped out at me right away!  I thought about it for a day, then had to go back and buy it!  The shoes are by Born, one of my favorite brands because they look cute and are SUPER soft and comfy!  I've worn these to SDCC preview night one year!

Don't you just LOVE how the silver ink pops off the navy shirt?!  I added a few Doctor Who accessories to the dressier look, a Rose {tear} ring, Allons-y bracelet {Show Pony} and two heart necklace {House of Darkly}.

Lastly, it's my November Summer in SoCal look.  This past Saturday it was in the mid-80s so no jacket was required, but come Sunday evening the beach was a bit chilly.  Pop on a cute coat and you are good to go, scarf too if you like!  I love how the Weeping Angel necklace enhances the sliver in the letters.  I also added a few of buttons to my jacket:  50th Anniversary TARDIS I got in Cardiff, a Dalek button from the 50th Anniversary party I attended and a bit of band love with The Filthy Souls {British boys!}.

Verdict, Jordandene's tanks are a must have!  Soft and I love how they are a bit loose.  If...I mean WHEN you purchase one of Jordandene's cute tops make sure you tag her in social media @JordandeneNYC and #jordandene on Instagram!  Tell her The Nerdy Girlie sent you!
