My Top 5 Favorite Denver Coffee Shops

From the moment I landed in Denver this past December, I had a feeling in my heart that this was going to be my new home. And now it is!

In that month I found five places I could see being my new Republic of Pie and Fig Tree Cafe. None will ever take the other’s place, just add to the list of amazing places I’ve found that have great atmosphere, coffee and creative energy.

Here’s my new favorite places to hang out, write and consume hot beverages in Denver now as a resident!
1. Devil's Food on Gaylord Street. Nerds! Homemade Pop Tarts are the wave of the future! Ever since I arrived in Denver it has been the IT food. Devil’s Food is an adorable lil hidden gem on a fun and hip shopping street. Grab your coffee, treat and shop you little heart out. Vintage shops, new and hip shops…something for everyone!!
2. Sugar Bakeshop and Coffee House on Broadway. You know you have an amazing best friend when she surprises you with an array of homemade pop tarts! Liz brought me these amazing treats one morning and I’ve been hooked ever since. THEN she brought me to the actual shop and I squeed my way through the entire cafe. A working typewriter where you can type up anything and paste it on the wall, cozy corners and the most amazing desserts! THIS might be my new RoP!
3. Black Eye Coffee in Capital Hill. I’ve already been to this place two times. Once for a girl date and the second when I was able to be alone and write up a storm. It was easy. I met some great new people and adore their chai. Which is pictured above. They even have the COOLEST bathrooms with amazingly positive neon signs!
4. The Breakfast King off of South Broadway. I love me a good diner {see Sunset Junction in LA}. So the moment I walked into The Breakfast King I knew I could totally chill here. The vibe is super classic and of course so is their coffee. The food portions are HUGE and a reasonable price. It is the perfect classic diner.
5. Beat Box Bakery and Cafe in Five Points. An adorable lil bakery that makes the most delectable vegan donuts and the most amazing sandwich {hummus, cucumbers, radish and lettuce} I’ve ever had. A cozy atmosphere for us girl squad to hang. I’ve been here twice already and it is never busy. I love finding hidden gems that I can always count on a place to sit, create and enjoy my coffee!

Denver is now my home! I can officially say that! Anyone want to come out for coffee?!

You need to try Kaladi's on Evans near DU. They roast they're coffee in-house. It's so good! I've traveled around the world and have tried coffee in all kinds of different places, and yet, I always come back to Kaladi's.

Glad you are enjoying Denver. I have been once to visit a friend and had a lot of fun! It's where I also experienced my first snow! Haha...

But really, glad you have found home and are loving it.

I'm down for coffee whenever! Maybe Saturday, early afternoon? Have you been to Steam or Corvus?
