Figuring Out My Place In Time And Space: The Road Home, Part 2

California. Nevada. Utah.

part one.

I can't believe I did it.

I drove 1,382 miles.

Alone.

And it felt amazing. The moment that the Denver skyline came into view I began to weep. I knew that was where I was heading this entire time but I wasn't allowing myself to get emotional {aka my normal} about it because of the journey I had to do.

I pulled into a parking spot at my friends house and began to sob. Because I missed LA, my friends there, the places. Because I was tired, because I couldn't believe I did such a HUGE thing all on my own, and because the first thing my BFF Liz said to me was "Welcome home, babe!"

Highlights of the trip:

*Being able to have surprise daddy daughter time in Las Vegas.

*Spending the day in Park City, UT with my A Silent Film {Lamplighter} bestie, Lindsay. The town was completely adorable. Filled with amazing shops, coffee and all the sights and sounds of the Sundance Film Festival!

*Being truly alone with my thoughts. Allowing them to wander down may different paths. Ideas for my book: 100 Cups Of Coffee, the emotional depth I feel when I hear certain song lyrics and most importantly...what am I going to name my wireless network at MY new place?!

Thank you nerds for all of your love and support along the way. I had offers to meet up with many of you but I had a one track mind. I am so sorry! The trip was broke down into short manageable pieces so I never once felt overwhelmed while driving, the weather cooperated and my car took the snow like a champ, where I didn't!

Now my life officially begins in Denver. I move in on Saturday with job interviews set up for Monday and Tuesday! I cannot wait to share my new place with you. Get into a set routine and run my lil heart out since I just sat for four days!
