5 Fandom Friday: My Comfort Films

I am so excited about this one.  I have a few films that I go back to time and time again and I can't wait to share them with you.
1.  Interview With A Vampire.  I LOVE THIS MOVIE.  It is my number one most favorite movie ever!  I don't remember the first time I saw it, but it was the beginning of my life long vampire fication.  I've tried to read the book once and didn't like it!  I feel so bad about that.

2.  Back To The Future.  My ultimate sci fi time travel movie!  It was my very first cosplay and is such a completely amazing trilogy!

3.  School Of Rock.  Jack Black, bow ties and rocking out.  All the awesome. In preparation for this post, I did a re-watch and one it is still amazing and two I can still quote the entire movie. Let's rock, let's rock today!

4.  Center Stage.  I had been a lifelong fan of ballet before Center Stage came out, but then it did and my ballet world changed forever.  I wanted to be a ballerina even more after watching this movie.  I could watch the ending performance all day long.  It is so perfect, the music, the moves and the swoon!

5.  The Counte of Monte Cristo.   I remember the day this poster went up in the movie theater I worked at and I was like what?  Now I cannot count {hahahhah} how many times I've seen this movie.  The story, the adventure and the lifelong romance.  Perfect.

Anyone else dying to have a movie marathon now?!  I already watched Interview this year but now I need to go watch the rest!  School of Rock is on Netflix, fyi!

Totally agree with you about Center Stage and The Count of Monte Cristo. The final swordfight in that movie is so beautifully shot. Guh, need to rewatch.

I remember Centre Stage! Used to watch this at school during lunch when we all worked out how to use the TV when the teacher wasn't there. School of Rock I have noticed has made a few lists, it was actually the first DVD I bought. Great list!

I will admit to having the soundtrack to Center Stage. Such a great film. Also yea for anything Anne Rice related. I have read most of the vampire chronicles. They are not easy reads but they paint a vivid tale.

This is an excellent list. It's impossible to be sad when watching Center Stage, for sure.

Do you have a list for April yet?

Count of Monte Cristo is SO good. I watched it for the first time at church camp (weird, right?) and I did not expect to love it as much as I did. It's definitely one of those that sticks with you throughout the years. My cat got ahold of my DVD a few years back & I haven't gotten around to replacing it yet *sobs*. Great list! I love every single one of these movies! :)

Interview... forever! That movie was so beautifully done! I need to get it on Blu-Ray too!

And I actually really like all of those movies, except, Center Stage, which I have never seen. I've been told that the dancing is amazing though!
