So excited for the giveaway!! My SDCC question... do you have any annual traditions or must-dos?

Only 1 year?!? Your advice & tips helped make my first SDCC the smashing success it was. So much so, that I'm seriously considering going again next year! I wish we ran into each other this year, but I guess there's always next year :) Thank you again, and keep up the amazing work!

I have some high anxiety when in crowded places, but still really want to go to SDCC. Are there many places you can go to "get away" from the worst of the crowds, when you need to?

My question! I'm going to be an SDCC newbie in 2014. What dates do I need to keep in mind for ticket sales??

Thanks lady!! <3 <3

Congrats on your one year vlog anniversary!!!! In your opinion, who gives out the best swag? How early do you have to go to get certain swag?

SpiderDan said...

Do you follow twitter throughout the con for exclusive events? I have only been once and I tried to get in as much as I could, but it's impossible to get to everything!

Who is the best contact at SDCC for submitting ideas for the con?

Colleen said...

For a first timer, what would be your plan of 'attack' at SDCC? What table is the best to go to first? Who is a must visit?

B said...

What an awesome contest! If you have ideas to submit, you should probably use the contact form over at CCI.

Amanda: There are some places and some quiet from the storm, but for the most part it's crowds crowds crowds. I have some anxiety too, but have managed ok.

Sam: Open badge sales are usually in February. Make sure you register for a Member ID as soon as possible, or you won't be able to get into badge sales.

How in the world did you get a ticket!? haha. Not really my question. I've just tried to enter the lottery for two years and failed. :[ Legitimate question- Have you found it worth it to wait in lines for big Hall events? I know people camp out for hours and hours. I feel that that would detract from the overall experience for me. In any case, thanks for giveaways, and happy anniversary! :D

I'm a cosplayer - would you recommend bringing out the big stuff for the con? How many days could one cosplay without getting totally overwhelmed?

Happy Anniversary! To many, many more!

Thank you so much, Megan, for making my first SDCC awesome! With all the overwhelming information pouring in on Twitter during the con, I was so glad I followed you and your friend Tony Kim (@Crazy4ComicCon). You helped me greatly! ¡MuchΓsimas gracias!

Happy anniversary! SDCC question- how did you remain so calm through out the con? Even with all the stuff you had organised you were still able to sound so chilled!

Happy Anniversary!!!! SDCC question- how were you able not to get totally stressed through out the con even with all the things you organised? (might of posted this twice- sorry)

What is your favorite all time thing about SDCC?

David said...

What was the longest time you had to wait in line and were people rude and obnoxious?

Happy Anniversary! Your SDCC guide was so helpful for me, as this was my first year attending. My question would be, how far in advance do you start planning out what panels or activities you're hoping to attend? There were so many things my husband and I would have loved to have attended but found out about them after the fact.

Happy Anniversary! I was at the SherlockeDCC event in San Diego and had a great time there. Thanks for your contributions, and I'm excited to have found this site.

Unknown said...

How early would you recommend getting to the Con to get into certain panels? Any other additional info would be appreciated. Seems it's pretty tough.

How hard is it to get autographed merch at SDCC?

Love your blog. I found it last week and can't wait to read all your posts. My question for you is who is your most hated comic book character?

Unknown said...

Congrats and Happy Blog-o-versary! Keep up the good work! Godspeed fellow nerd!

Happy Anniversary! I love reading your blog even though I have yet to have the chance to get to SDCC... It's happening within the next few years though. I have off during the summer! There's NO WAY I am missing this! But I definitely wish this would have been the year... having Matt Smith at every turn would have been awesome!

Unknown said...

It's time for Court and I do start planning (and saving) for SDCC!

My question is WHY is SDCC only 4 and a half days.. It should be 7.. .

Happy anniversary and keep up the awesome work!

What are your favorite kinds of SDCC parties to attend? All fan parties or those with a chance celebrity encounter?

Unknown said...

You made my first Comic-Con a smashing success! And you were so damned cute when I met you at Nerd HQ (the Nathan/Alan photo op was just the best thing ever) ... Looking forward to another year of awesome tips for SDCC '14... I'm planning to bring my nephew (who will be 10) for a couple days next year... He already said he wants to camp out overnight for Hall H (cuz he's crazy like that)... What else is kid friendly that I should pay attention to?

Unknown said...

Congratulations and happy anniversary! My question to you is "how does one living on the east coast bare the heartache of not being able to partake in the SDCC festivities?"

Unknown said...

Congratulations on 1 year of Nerdy Girliness!
